Employed full-time as a business jet pilot, I have experience in both Part 91 and Part 135 operations, as well as exposure to jet management and contract pilot opportunities. I am PIC Type rated on the Gulfstream G-200 (IAI Galaxy). I am a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, with Advanced Ground Instructor, and Instrument Instructor). I have instructed both independent clients, and as a part of a university's Part 141 program. I also have experience as a pipeline pilot, which has been my favorite flying experience so far.
I have hopes of receiving a seaplane rating (both multi and single engine) someday, and retiring with a seaplane marina.
I received my initial aviation engineering experience from working in Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul (MRO) facility as a structural engineer for a small defense contractor. I also had an internship with a small aircraft manufacturer that had hopes to restarting a production line, where I helped model the tooling in SolidWorks. Prior to this, I had an internship with a tire manufacturer, where I became familiar with engineering drawings, and re-organized their drawing library for the whole plant - over 500 drawings, including drawings over 80 years old and more than 50 production lines. Varying from steam powered, hydraulically actuated, to completely autonomous.
More recently, I have begun partnering with Athena Aircraft to provide engineering and 3D modeling support for new and experimental aircraft for various companies.
